a bit of background
I’ve been sharing my travel writing and photography here since 2013, working with publications and brands to produce content for select campaigns. I have over 12,000 followers across my social media channels and email with previous clients including VisitScotland, Historic Scotland, National Trust for Scotland, Barbour, Scots Magazine, Go Ape, Passion Passport, ScotRail and This Is Edinburgh. My images are also regularly featured on social media, especially Instagram.
My expertise isn’t just limited to running this blog, however — since 2015 I’ve been working in digital marketing and I now manage social media for a department of the Scottish Government full time. I’ve been on both sides of the influencer marketing industry, and this knowledge is reflected in the quality of work and post-campaign analytics I produce. I’m also an award-winning student journalist and writer, so you can be confident in the standard of copy I will create.
my mission to share Scotland
I’m passionate about Scotland and, given the increased popularity of some sites in this beautiful wee country, I’m keen to promote places that are off the beaten track. Nature, sustainability and slow travel are important to me and I want to use my voice to ensure that no corner of this country is left behind. I’m keen to give exposure to towns or rural areas that require an injection of tourism and digital love, so if that relates to your brand or campaign, please get in touch.
collaborate with me on a campaign
Are you a small business, tourism organisation, or just have a fantastic story you’d like to tell via digital media? I’d love to hear from you. Pop your details in the form below and I’ll get back to you within 3 working days. Please note that due to the volume of emails I receive, I will only respond to relevant queries and do not accept guest posts on this site (everything you see here is created by me, with love!).
